Package arrived today from Goodstufftogo.net, containing the last of wave 2 that I needed: Sky Grinder.
Just a quick review - pretty nice looking skater type dude. Comes with the large wingpack, a skyboard, roller blades, two brick-like knuckle coverings, a pipe accessory of some kind, the EV-AC, and a mess of missiles. Funny - the head with the big mess of hair is two parts, so you can take the hair off. I think his sneakers are one of the best parts - will be able to use for lots of future customs. He can do some real nice kick poses too.
The only negative I can see is the connection between his knee and lower leg. The lower leg is blue transparent plastic, and it looks like moving the leg around is shaving the plastic a bit, creating a loose joint and some plastic dust.
All in all, a recommended figure for reagular store price. Don't overpay for him.

[glow=aqua,2,300]heh, I'm on the opposite side of the tracks on wanting this one. He's the wave 2 figure I want the least. I'll still pick him up to add to a Street Punk gang. I think he fits in best with them.

Nothing like working from the ground up to build a masterpiece  Sky Grinder is my least aniticipated as well but the more I look at the pics the better he looks. Plus he has clear plastic parts so that definetly helps  |

Did you happen to take any pics of the Grinder, good Doctor? What's the spring loaded blade thingy do? Are they straight back until you deploy them? We've always seen pics where they're already deployed.

Cool pics, man. Nice boots, too! Xevoz look great together in the battle picture! Mmmm... clear plastic. The stickers you used look good on the Sky Grinder figure! I'm still on the fence with using them, but the more I see them... I'm looking forward to seeing this one at the stores! |

Thanks for the pics. Interesting how the board and the wings are seperate pieces. Also looks like you can use the wing piece as a backpack. 3 heads, you say? Guess I'll get at least 3 of him.
