For those of you that have either the Fury or the Grim Skull sets, are one of your wings different than the other? What I mean, is one is a straight cut on the socket joint end, while the other has a more rounded cut by the socket joint. This imperfection doesn't allow the one wing to have as much movement as the other. I thought my IF was a fluke, but then I got the Grim Skull set and it was the same deal. The problem must be with the mold itself, which sucks. Thought I'd toss that out there, in case anyone's been wondering the same thing.

the wings on mine are slightly different from each other too. I haven't noticed any movement problems because of it, though. I think they're all like that. The problem I had with the Inferno Fury is that one of his "harness" pegs snapped off inside his chest, hust went out and bought a replacement yesterday.

[glow=aqua,2,300]I think they made the wings asymmetrical so that it would look more like fire. I'm not crazy about how it turned out though. There is not a lot of movement there and black body frame seems to like to come loose a lot on my figure. I also don't like how my Inferno had slight nicks on his black face mask either. All of this is why out of all the series 1 non-repaint selections he is my least favorite selection.

Hey, you're not alone. My Inferno fury's wings are slightly different from each other, as well. But the only problem I've encountered is not with the articulation of the wings themselves, but with the black "back piece" they are attached to. They have a tendency to fall off a lot. Perhaps the weight of the wings is too great for the back piece, in which case Hasbro should have made the whole wing combination "snap" together better into place.
That's my only complaint so far with the Xevoz I have. Which is pretty good for a new line of toys, IMO. As an example, Hasbro relaunched the 1:18 scale (3 3/4 in.) GI Joe toys a couple of years ago, and to this day there are still quality control issues with that line.
So, with that said, Xevoz is reigning supreme in my book!

My Inferno Fury has the same wing problem as well. I too think it's so it would look more like fire. IMO it does get in the way of articulation a bit though.

The difference in wing molds is a bit annoying because you do loose some movement on the one but it's no big deal. The only problem I've had with Inferno Fury, as well as Sledge Trooper actually is that the chest/hip connection is a bit loose and if I move them too far one way or the other they just fall over all the way

The best way to fix loose ball joints is to paint a few layers of clear nail polish on the ball. 3-4 layers (let each one dry before applying the next) and the joint should be tight enough.

Yep..I used it a few times on Transformers toys and it works fine. Will work for Xevoz as well. Though I suggest trying the articulation between each coat of nail polish. Too much of it won't do any good either.

Glad to see I wasn't going crazy. Just odd that one wing would have a straight cut and the other would not. If they wanted it to look *more* like flames or fire, then they *both* should have had curvy cuts.
