Since Hasbro is so famous for repaints (Transfomers, G.I. Joe, ect...). I bet that they'll release some xevoz repaints. What do you guys think?

Aye...there are even pics of some repaint packs up on ebay... This might be one of the first lines where I won't mind buying a repaint. After all, you don't complain when you get more of the same legos in a different color do you? Not exactly analogous, but pretty darn close.

There is no link. The repaints they are talking about are the Omega Guard and the Grim Skull. Repaints of the Alpha Ranger and Skull Jack, respectively. Someone was "bored" and went back into 2 month old posts, posted a couple words, and their on the front page, confusing the hell out of everyone. *shrugs* oh well. Bottom line is that there are no new repaints coming out, for the time being.

there's no point in using old posts for useless info. It does confuse people. Especially those who can't keep track of every topic that gets updated every day

Ok I guess I also need get up on collector lingo a bit too then because I always assumed a re-paint was the same figure with the same name. Not a figure with a new name and different parts. *shrugs*

Well, these are re-paints because they use existing parts, that are re-cast and re-painted to make "new" figures.
A rose by any other name is still, well....plain and simple, a rose.
As far as more re-paints are concerned, I wouldn't bank on seeing a lot of these any time soon. As has been stated (and IS based on information gleaned from an official source), the Grim Skull and Omega Guard were special deals (and were rather quickly thrown together), and it now seems that Hasbro is thankfully putting more effort into creating new sculpts, rather than just re-hashing existing sculpts in new colors. Which I for one, am much more excited about than just getting a bunch of cheesy repaints.
