I remember when I was a little kid being fascinated by the Muppets and puppets in general on TV. I guess it's that part of my youth that had me watching Mr. Meaty recently. Has anyone else seen this? It's a show on Nick that usually comes on either after Avatar or the Fairy Odd Parents.
It's puppets - Two teenagers, Josh & Parker, that work in a fast food restaurant conveniently named "Mr. Meaty", located in a shopping mall. I find this show funny as they touch on some recent topics. Just this past weekend, they had an episode geared at the release of new video game consoles and the experience of waiting in line to be the first, however they put an interesting twist by mixing story elements from Planet of the Apes. They've had a bunch of other episodes that borrow elements from other movies such as Terminator 2, Gremlins, Dawn of the Dead & Star Trek/Star Wars. If you haven't seen this show, give it a viewing just once to see if you may like it or not. If I had to compare this shows humor to another, I would rate it as clever as Grim Adventures.
I found myself interested right when I heard the theme song:
"All of God's creatures ...... fresh off the grill! S' come on down to Mr. Meaty's, where friends meet to eat ... MEAT!"

I have seen this show a few times before. I find it someone silly and disgusting sometimes, but overall, it's an interesting show with much more advanced humor for Nickelodeon.
