Anyone here playing it? I started playing 2 nights ago and I LOVE it! I really like the Gamecube ones as well, but with the Wii controls it definitely the best IMO. The only thing that bothers me a little is that there way to much stuff to scan.
Also, can anyone explain to me what the Friends vouchers are? I'm not too sure I understand it and the instruction manual doesn't say much. Is it a way to send credits to a friend? If so, how do I determine how many I want to send?

No idea what the friend vouchers mean, but yes I TOTALLY AGREE trying to get 100% scan is hard considering how frantic the action has been. Not far at all, got it tuesday and split up the time between RE4 Wii (yes I had to win it again for the 8th time) Yeah I like the controls too, but I have to play again when I'm not so tired.

I got it two days ago and I'm LOVING IT. Defenitly the best of the series. I just finished destroying the first phazon asteroid seed thing last night. I love the bonus section. This time, you actually get stuff for scanning things.

Forgot to say..No spoilers in this thread please Yep, way too much stuff to scan and sometimes you gotta scan things more than once too! Scan a generator, it<s offline. Turn it back on, dont forget to scan again! Also dont forget the surrounding computer panels on the wall which will now have info on the working generator. Thats a lot IMO.

I know what you mean. It's hard to play for a while without killing your wrist.

Indeed this game is tough on my arm! After an hour or so, my shoulder is killing me. The fact that we can't save anywhere doesn't help either. Gotta stick with it untill we can save and take a much diserved break. Usually I'll only play the next day. It's been a few hours since I played now and I still can feel it in my shoulder.
As for the friend vouchers, when you accomplish certain things, like killing 100 ennemies for example, you'll get one. You can then send it to someone on your friend list who plays the game. That person can then the voucher and turn it into a friend credit, which is needed to unlock certain bonuses. Make sure you have people sending you vouchers as well!

I beat the game. I started Hypermode and changed the control style to advanced. Apparently I missed scanning some stuff and was at 94%... which is fine because when you go thru the game a second time, everything you scanned is scanned already, so you just have to look out for the stuff you missed. Grayfox, see the wii friend codes thread. If you don't want to share it publicly, pm me, I have at least 3 vouchers up for grabs.

Well, I've beaten it as well. EXCELLENT game! Sorry I won't be able to give out vouchers to anyone. I'm a bit pissed that I scanned *everything* but apparently missed a few items since I finished with 97%. I have absolutely no idea what it is I missed. And I don't have the time to go through it a second time thanks to Zelda: Phantom Hourglass coming out in the next few days. Ah well, I guess I'll go check the complete ending on youtube or something.

Indeed, Zelda: PH will rock.
E-Mummy, quick question about Metroid 3, when you start a new game, whatever you scanned the first time around remains scanned, but do you keep all the energy tank and missiles expansions as well?

No, you have to get them all again. Be kinda easy to beat bosses and such and such, wouldn't you say. At the beggining, just after you dock your spaceship for the first time, go to the right at the end of the walkway. There's a little mini-game where you hit a container to keep it in the air for as long as possible, kinda tricky, but it gives you friend vouchers. Anybody else unlock the secret message aboard the Valhalla?
