Man, I saw some screenshots of the LoZ:PH today and am I dissappointed. Why the hell did they do with the childish cell shaded Link from windwaker? I was hoping for at least an LoZ:OoT stylized game. I don't see why this wasn't possible since the DS is basically as powerful as a N64. I'll probably still get this but I really hate the cell shaded Link and was hoping we had seen the last of him.

I think it's all a matter of taste. I liked the cell shaded look. It's very different from what any other Zelda games look like. So I really don't mind seeing the same style again in the DS version. I can understand why some don't like that style though. For now, if you want anything close to OoT, you'll wanna play Twilight Princess I guess

the reason they did the cel shaded way for lozph is because it is the sequel to wind waker

I had to revive this thread. Zelda Phantom Hourglass deserves it, I say!
Is anyone playing it? I started last night and it's pretty cool! The DS can do very, very good graphics (for such a system). The controls are good too, though I would've liked a way to used the buttons to control. I always feel like I'll [lightly] scratch my touch screen when using the stylus a lot. Still, they said they'd make the controls simpler so anyone could enjoy it and, after seeing my mother easily moving and interacting with characters in game, I guess they succeeded.
There's also the multi player mode that looks interesting, though I didn't look into it yet.
