I think it worked well without the paint, but I can see how that would have given the kit a more uniform look. Would, past tense, because THIS THREAD IS NEARLY TWO YEARS OLD. (If you're going to bring up old topics, why not try one of mine?) (This is sarcasm - don't actually do that.) (This is condescension.)
But seriously, I do have a few projects I'm working on; my first full custom, the orange draconian Dencina, is, off and on, undergoing some modifications to make her seem more like I draw the character... and I have a few Stikfas projects underway. (I actually do paint all of my kits, but I don't use an airbrush because, as I posted elsewhere, I'd get paint all over; I don't really have anywhere suitable to use it in.)

Now this is a subject I will address. Eventually you're gonna stumble upon my vehicles and I never painted any of them. In fact, I never painted any Xevoz. I liked being able to kit bash something, take it apart and use the pieces to bash something else.
Not everyone here painted their Xevoz. Heck, not everyone kept their Xevoz. So keep this in mind when looking at stuff. And try to keep the old post resurrection to a minimum. You can always discuss older customs in a single thread linking to older threads. That would probably be better than posting in the old threads.

That's cool. Making vehicles are quite a bit harder than making characters. In my opinion anyway.

For me it was easier for some reason.

Wait... this thread was started two years ago... does this happen often?
