I need another Thunder Shaman. Anyone know where I may be able to get one, still in the package of course (as this would be for my unopened collection)?

Wow--are they selling out already? Try Toynk.com--I got mine there just a week or two ago...

Have you not checked out EBay for some reason? Every UNSOLD and SOLD Thunder Shaman was going for $12 or so, plus shipping. That's pretty much MSRP and they are not available in stores. I realize if you want more than one that a proper online vendor is preferable, but you might contact the Ebay sellers and find out which ones are actually toy vendors and comic book dealers - they might very well sell you multiple Thunder Shamans for $12 a pop.
Write one inquirey, copy and paste it into every eBay contact form for those sellers.
Happy hunting!

Actually triskela, I think the Thunder Shamans have really become harder to find in the past month. I just searched eBay and not one was listed. I also remember doing a broad search just for Xevoz and recall seeing some TS I think going for 18 bucks or so. [/b]

ebayer dreamjoey just added another auction of 12 Thunder Shaman, though it says this is a preorder and he is expecting more to arrive in two weeks.
But I bought one anyways. ;D Lets just hope he's gettin more in like he says. Whats the usual protocol with this kinda auction, do I send the payment and hope he's not delusional and actually delivers the figure or do I wait till he has it in hand before paying?

That explains my question about that. I was about to get one, but then I hesitated. What do you guys suggest? If anything, the guy does have a very high approval rating...but still...
Any feedback?

Well awhile back he claimed to have Thunder Shaman figures in hand(was two months or so before we actually saw em anywhere). Once the auction was over and he was supposedly going to ship them out, we were informed he didn't have the figures he thought he did, due to Hasbro sending him the incorrect product.
There were two problems I had with this. First off, why didn't he look in the box, which he thought had the figures, over the 5 day period or whatever it was the auction was up for? I mean I know I personally would make sure they were in there as soon as I got the case. Secondly, he never contacted me about it. Someone else on this board heard the news and informed the rest of us. I had to conatct him to check on it, and get my refund. He claims to have tried and e-mailed me, but I nor a few others that placed an order for the TS got the notice. Not a hue deal becuase he did refund my money, but it still was a bit of a hassel.
His shipping is a bit pricey (9 bucks for deluxes?), but other then that I don't really have anything to say about him. I am sure if he gets the product, he will send em out with no problems. That of course, is if he gets another shipment in. I am not sure if Hasbro is out of Thunder Shaman like they are wave 3, but he may or may not be getting them in.[/b]

Oops! My bad. after reading Sector's post I now think of the "dreamjoey" guy as a wanker in the "Bill's Toys and Games" mold. Good, but only if you are kicking his ass every step of the way.
Anyway, there must be another source somewhere...I was just trying to help. My overall point was that I see ebayers list the item fairly frequently.
Patience is best here I suppose.

[glow=red,2,300]patience is very good. i got my thunder shaman last friday. its alright. its not the best figure in my opinion. the gimmicky thunder arm thing is annoying at best, but i can live with it. the arms wouldn't bend, so i sanded don some of the upper arm so it would bend better. then, i had to replace the short thighs with that of a spair razorclaws. i went out on a limb to get this figure, (which is rare for me,) and i was disappointed because i had to do a lot of customizing. i played with it for about an hour and now it just sits on my shelf with the rest of my stuff. the life of a romantic.[/glow]

Wow, I actually get really nice comments from people that see the Thunder Shaman figure - people that are well into middle-age and have no toys of their own.
Personally, I love him.

The bits of wood are nearly invisible, and act as pretty tight shims to hold the thing in place.
