A very nice person at The Allspark was able to fulfill my request: A limited edition Denki Hobby Magazine store exclusive, a repaint of the battle princess is now released! Strafe changes to a white coloration, with a newly molded face and parts to connect to. Anval(?)'s is changed into a black coloured character with new face parts and along with adaptor parts, comes with large attached weapons parts. With the cooperation of Denki Hobby Magazine, a collection book is also included.
------
No scale for the figures (they are 20 centimeters in height) Completely painted action figure. New head parts, expansion joint parts, Collaboration book Maker: Konami Marketting: Media Works Price: 4,725 yen (about 43 or 44 USD?) Scheduled to be released in May, 2007.I suspect that these will be difficult and expensive to acquire for us Americans.

Man, that sucks. Oh well when collecting from a foreign country I just assume there are going to be some things I just won't be able to get or afford. This is one of them and since they are mostly repaints, I think it will work out okay for me.

Checking websites for in-stock figures has become part of my morning ritual since I got my figures. I still really like them, and often find myself reaching up to change their pose on the stands. The stands rock... I thought the stands that came with marvel legends were neat, but the busou shinki stands blow those out of the water. I'm also very pleased with how the figures hold the pose. My samurai has been in a high-kick position for a while now without any signs of the leg drooping.
Anyone found any other pictures of the wave 4 figures? or any bashes of the kits that people have done?

He charges for his services, but it doesn't seem that bad. Details are on his site. He's getting me the three naked MMS bodies and both exclusives for just under $160 + shipping. Might be something to look in to if you're a completist, especially since the import places probably won't carry them.

Wow that's a good price considering what you get and how hard those will be to come by here. I'll have to sell some stuffs on ebay but I think I'll give him an email too. As I really want those naked bodies to serve as bodies for Waffebunny and Tsugaru and the upcoming Ft. Bragg Ex kit.

I found this site, www.diamondcomics.com/toychest/toys/10_06/41_bosou_shinki.htm, which makes me think they're coming to comic stores in the states... so keeping my fingers crossed that the naked bodies will show up here too for the kits that don't come with bodies. More already? I'm still waiting for the first three waves. Well, at least we're not getting flooded with new releases at $32-$40 a pop. Otherwise I might not be able to afford this little indulgence. These new ones look mad sweet. I can't decide which one I like the most.

(hes the only one having the items "located" in the U.S) That's way too much, especially considering that the average online retailer isn't going to charge more than $40 for the regular non-EX figs. And if you look hard enough, you can find them cheaper than that, even.

They look pretty good, actually. Just... too bad they're not robots! I would've seriously considered getting some if they were. Now, though, I just think they look neat but not worth it at that price.

Not to cause an arguement or anything but to truely judge these toys you really have to get one first. They are a hundred times better once you play with them much like our dearly departed Xevoz.
BTW wave 5 looks like it's going to be the best yet! Which makes up for some of the sets is wave 4 which just are a little to girly and out there for my tastes. Does anyone else wish they would scrap the EX kits and just make them full on kits. Some of my favorite figures so far are these and it pisses me ioff that they are essentially boosters without bodies. Wave 5 is no exception. I really need those naked black and white bodies to be offered here in the states.

Does anyone else wish they would scrap the EX kits and just make them full on kits. I'm with you, but Konami probably wants to have some "value" kits to keep the line from looking too pricey overall. And if anyone cares, I found the wave 5 names (or at least one interpretation of them): Eucrante (bird) Eanara (mermaid) Waffedolphin (EX kit)
