Stow the 'Xevoz is dead' talk for one second, hear me out: E-Mail them! I don't care that the line is dead, I don't care that there may never be any hope for Xevoz. I really, really don't care about all the reasons why it tanked and didn't sell. There's a chance that they'll actually foreward this to someone who can make it work, so take it! Kick at the darkness 'till it farking bleeds daylight, people!

No thanks. Been there, done that. It's pointless. You see while you really, really may not care about all the reasons it tanked and didn't sell... HASBRO does. It's their opinion based on millions of dollars lost, not a few fanboys with a never say die attitude that matters in this. Hey, if you are too stubborn to accept reality after several years of vast clearence that the line was a complete sales disaster them send then that impressive 46 person petition too. That ought to turn a bunch of heads.
People who want xevoz to live can only do so through exercising their imagination. Create fanfics, make kitbashes, do online fan comics, make stop motion films, and customize. That's the only way Xevoz will survive. The company is done with it. and I seriously doubt Stikfas will ever revive it either. If you want to empower what few fans it still has inspire them to use their creativity on a toyline shunned. That's the best place to put their efforts to honor Xevoz. Not rounding up a few dozen fans to badgering a toy company who lost a ton on a toyline that didn't even last a year at retail.

Listen, they said it was CONSUMER SERVICE. They will restart it, probably if EVERYONE E-Mails (and/or writes a letter them) them them. There about 600 of us. Probably 2,000 including guests. If we all buy ONE Xevoz. It would only mean this, $$$ If we all buy TWO Xevoz, it would mean this. $$$ That mostly all what Hasbro wants, $$$ We want this, Xevoz. And by buying Xevoz, we give Hasbro, $$$ And that is what Hasbro wants, $$$.
See the cycle?

CONSUMER SERVICE is customer service. It's the same thing and sending them emails won't affect anything. It's been done before. I do not see anything in your email that promises movement at all by sending even a million emails. They gave xevoz life and wanted money for it and 3 years later you send them electronic spam.
There are not 600 people here and never was. I alot of the registered people are multiple ghosts of the same individual. Don't believe me, go through the names alphabetically. Many of the ones who were do not come around anymore because they found new interests thus the slow posting of these forums these days. Xevoz has been cancelled for near 3 years now. Why should they still come about? Grayfox and I are the only regulars that I know of from the heyday when the line was still active that even post on a semi-regular basis.
So no, you will not get 2000 emails from 2000 people here. If you make a big organized stink at all the major toysites you might be able to corral that number and even then that's not enough to make anyone of importance rethink the xevoz is dead stance the company has. Xevoz has a negative stigma around it there like the Edsel does to knowledgable car enthusiasts.
It cost around 40 thousand dollars to just make a mold 5 years ago. Do you think a few dozen pople who post here can resurrect a line and make it profitable? That's not even taking in consideration the raw materials, labor, marketing, packaging, creative staff, and shipping toy lines demand to make them successful. In this site's best days in got a couple hundred people visiting a day and many were buying many multiple kits and the line still failed miserably at retail. I have probably 400 kits in plastic tubs and the line still FAILED! So stop blowing smoke up our behinds with some brush off letter that means absolutely nothing.

New Species:
IMO, expressing your interest for the Xevoz toyline to Hasbro's CUSTOMER SERVICE isn't a bad idea and you certainly have the right do it. Flooding them with e-mails won't do anything good though. Ordering the dozen or so users of this board to "E-MAIL! E-MAIL HASBRO!" won't change a thing. I'm pretty sure that anyone here who wanted to email Hasbro concerning Xevoz has done so a long time ago (when there were actually chances the line could come back).
As much as I hate saying this, Xevoz is dead and unless another company comes out with a compatible toy line, it will stay that way. Let's keep enjoying the figures we got and drool at the concept art and prototype of the canceled waves. That's as good as it'll get.

That ought to turn a bunch of heads. For the record, I gave up on that petition a while ago. I just don't have anything else to put in my signature. Also, keep in mind that the Xevoz fanbase is not as small as you think we're not restricted to Xevolution. When I was sending e-mails out to Millionaire Playboy, MWC, AFI, etc, even the ones who didn't actually buy Xevoz when it was available said they'd support the continuation of it, or be in support of a Collector's Organization. I guess I should clarify something: I do actually care about the line's profits, because, as you said, Hasbro doesn't want to keep a line that's losing them money. However, when it comes to potentially bringing back a toyline that cost me a broken ankle and an extensive crash report, i'll take any chance I get. It'd be better to actually mail them something, anyway. E-Mails can easily be chalked up as spam. Regular mail shows that you actually took effort in reaching them. Give them a big box filled with testimonials and pages of customs, they'll likely be more interested in that than a letter someone sent on the internet.

I have to agree with SS on the whole "Let's ask Hasbro to make more". They make what they think will SELL and Xevoz has historical proof it did not. In fact, they would be risking their jobs a second time if they tried and may not survive. That being said, we can't ignore this one: Most users online was 92, 6/30/07 at 8:57pmNot sure if that was after the Neorepto action. It's possible that 91 GI Joe fans looked up what his Cobra Commander custom was about. So if you want some kind of activity as far as new toys go, make some yourself. You'd get a lot of people looking up Xevoz if there were more attention getting customs like the Cobra Commander. Think AFTERMARKET for that Edsel

I'm all for more creations and renewed interest for the toys. I'd love to see more conversation and creation around here (maybe it'd reinspire me to finish and make more customs). The after market for edsels and xevoz are both pretty strong for failed products from the few obsessed. However the edsel was never put back in production...

If you would actually look at the 'members' sign at the top of the board, you'd realize that about a third of the entire 692 have never even posted A SINGLE TIME. Another third is reserved for people that have made one to fifty posts. 692 doesn't mean anything.
