Another two well-executed kits! I would have loved to have Thorn Witch in my Xevoz collection. I really hope you remain creatively inspired to keep this thread growing. Art books by Kazuma Kaneko and Yasushi Nirasawa can be a good source of inspiration when artist's block looms near. BTW just because I hastily tackled a given concept in another sketching thread, should not disqualify them from receiving the eMummy treatment. Happy vector drawing!

This is some great stuff. My favorites are the elephant and the Doom Dozer but they're all great. Maybe a hyper fury idea could be metal.

Yeah, Neocal, I have a large collection of art books, but I don't think I knew Kazuma Kaneko's name, that is the Persona artist right? I love his stuff. Although googling him, I see a variety of Capcom stuff and not just Atlus... is this the same guy?

Some kick a$$ designs yet again Mummy! The knight is an excellent idea and even with the Stikfas version, I never thought of having a Xevoz knight. Good thinking. And like everyone, I love the Thorn witch! Excellent design, great accessories and extra heads, I want it to be made! I had tried my hand at witch custom a while ago, but your design is much better.
I wanna see more!

Glad you all are enjoying the designs! thanks a lot! So, I took 2 more drawings from my sketchbook and decided to make them into diagrams. The first one I initially called Granite Golem, and it was supposed to be an Earth Hyper-Fury, but that's basically what Rockahuna is right? So I came up with some other names: Earth Animate and then Summoned Earth and was leaning more toward a Unnatural. Now I had been to Prague and remembered the Golem of Prague story, so after rereading the legend I came upon this name which I thought was quite brilliant totally changing the golem from stone. The second one was pretty much a sketch of a squid Xevoz with multiple arms and an alternate snake head. Seeing as how it should be either Reptosaur or Aquattax and not both, I killed off the squid concept which may or may not be reexamined later. So going with reptosaur, I did a lot of hard design planning... the results of both are as follows: So Mud Behemoth has an umbrella gag piece opened and closed to keep from getting wet, which is a problem for mud creatures. He has an alt head of a cyclops creature, upside down bucket, and icecream cone. He also has an iron. Just lots of gag stuff and then the wooden club. Naga Charmer... what can I tell you about the design process... it was mind numbing getting stuff to line up and make sense and well just plain work as a good Xevoz fig. I'll explain it although a lot of you will probably revel in the possibilities and a lot of it will make Xevoz sense! The base is a body piece similar to Iron Spectre (IS) and InfilTraitor (IF)... so once you under stand that its pretty cool. NC comes with a lot of pieces, making him the most versatile snake toy I could possible imagine. I'm really happy with this design so I apologize if I just go off on it. Starting at the top left, you have a 4 armed snake biped. NC will come with 4 swords, a baby rattle and snake flute. He/She also has 2 pairs of arms with differences in bangles. You can see that NC has an opening chest plate piece to make a chest door like IS and IF. If you use the opening chest you can only use 1 pair of arms, so there is an alternate chest plate that attaches to the ball joint in the chest cavity. On the right you have two back pieces, the circle one just completes the cobra form on the bottom, and the eyeloop piece back has two ball joints to attach Storm Wing wings or use the cobra neck hood pieces for scale wings. There is an alternate end tail rattle. The two thighs are also large snake parts for the giant snake. Minus the pelvis joint for the biped form and neck for the head, and also the rattle, NC has 8 pieces devoted to Snake creation. Looking at the head on the bottom left, you can see the body cavity connects to a 3 ball jointed piece secures the connection to the hood parts or can be used to create a giant snake with arms. Then you have a piece which will give the snake some solid height bringing him near chest level on a regular neo sapien. On the far bottom left you have the two thighs and then 2 up and down curving pieces which then can be attached to the 2 tail pieces on the top right. The tongue doubles as a weird weapon. If you buy lots of Naga Charmers you can just make really insanely long snakes. or with 5 NCs you could make a 5 headed snake... etc. I would love to hear any bash ideas using this or any of my other nonexistent sets There's only one more set I'm planning that I think will exceed the complexity of Naga Charmer... so that might take a while to plan properly. Its going to have to mean quality time with bashing. Not to ruin any surprises.. do you even get surprised at this stuff? Maybe to build up anticipation... I have the final 2 viable ideas from my sketchbook up next and then 3 other ideas that I drew out on my computer cuz of stuff I've read here etc. So that's a Neo Sapien, Biomecha, 2 Reptosaurs and a Meta-beast to look forward to. I'm going to tell you up front that they aren't as involved as Naga Charmer... which is way easier on me! But I tackled him and he's done. PHEW! Got him out of my system. I'm gonna go basic on some of these, like Deep Assassin/Doom Dozer basic, so I apologize in advance for maybe not going crazy with the accessories and armor on some of them. I just wasn't really inspired. Maybe I'll think of something when the time comes... So enjoy Mud Behemoth (did you totally gloss over him?) and Naga Charmer! Maybe I spoil you by doing two at the same time all the time. This would most definitely not work as a two pack. I'll try and make a real two pack worthy pair later. But MB and NC are strictly deluxe!!!

I agree that the mud behemoth could go either way. I have no problem with him being unnatural, I just wish he could "be" at all. The gag pieces in both are quite good. I'malso glad too the see the nonsymetrical look return to a xevoz figure. I love the cyclops head too.
Naga Charmer is absolutely amazing! That guy who made the cobra commander custom would probably have a man crush on you if you could have helped gotten that one out to the public. A huge snake and the versatility of having a 4 armed snake man is awesome! The only other thing I'd really like to have with the Naga would be a medusa head and a female upper torso in some kind of evil boustier type outfit. So I'll humor my whim, call it a deluxe kit for those pieces and add some silly tounge launching action
More! More! We want more!

<snip> and a female upper torso in some kind of evil boustier type outfit. So I'll humor my whim, call it a deluxe kit for those pieces and add some silly tounge launching action SS, that's a Lamia you're describing. They made Medusa into a lamia for Clash of the Titans. Sorry, I'm really into mythology & monsters. It's a hobby. Keeps me off the streets and out of poolhalls. Tongue launching action. *lol* Makes me think of an adult type of toy, not Xevoz. ;D I won neorepto's Cobra Commander auction and yes, the snake headed scepter is nice, the jaw even opens on a hinge. *thumbs up* emummy, again, great work. I could honestly see these two figures being made from a kitbash/custom of Thunder Shaman, Sky Grinder, Fire Drake, and others. Hmmm, you may have given me a project to work on whenever I get some free time. ;D And to answer your question, Noctilca is one of Yasushi Nirasawa's designs. But then again, he has a million of similarly designed female monsters. Noctilca is the only one of his that I picked up (normal version, not the funky hot pink one) years ago. At $25/ per fig, it was my most expensive single figure for quite a long time.

I'm having trouble getting passed the term "Man Crush". (shivers...) As for the figs...AWSOME. I remember a movie called Gollum (I think) where some wizard put a magic word in a necklace and turned a mud statue into life. Old B&W thing. Naga Charmer? What else is there to say? It is one of the best designs ever. I personally don't miss the peg holes especially in the tail sections. Arm and leg pegs would be OK if you feel it calls for it. At first I thought a Medusa head should come with it but after some thought feel it should be an extra head with a female arcaster.

If you look up golem and prague, you'll read the tale of a rabbi who created a golem of mud and activiated it by placing a name of god in its mouth, the story goes on to where the rabbi forgets to take it out, and the golem proceeds to cause havok. I did some minor updates, nothing special, backtrack a bit Just one new one today. Something not as extravagant, but a figure idea I had in the book. Zone Sentinels guard the borders of Atlantia. They are excellent snipers, and something rarely gets past them, but if something does... shotgun to the face! Good for military bashes with a little Soviet era flair. . The knife slides into the gun and the back of the coat. All weapons peg in the back. I'll probably try and come up with some other heads.
