It has been sometime since I have actively searched for a new toy line. All the buzz surrounding Legendary Comic Book Heroes got to me and I made it my mission to get to them. I was fortunate to stumble upon a fresh end cap display this morning at Wal-Mart. These are really great toys. I especially applaud Marvel Toys’ use of the new ball and socket shoulder joints. Ripclaw is the only throwback, utilizing an older Marvel Legends mold. His shoulders still utilize the disk shoulders and because of this, the design on his arms gets broken up. I think Judge Death is the best sculpt. He almost looks like he’s from some other line, he’s so detailed. Not to say the other figures are plain, they just don’t lend themselves to this kind of detail. Savage Dragon (a-shirt version) is probably my favorite, visually. He looks great posed next to this fellow I’m told is from the same comic. Pitt is just sick. I love the feeling of owning a two-up, because that’s what having Pitt feels like. My Whitchblade’s right ankle is a little warped and loose, but I put her on one of the stands from the Face Off set, so she’s happily floating in space. I’ll take series 2 now, thank you very much.

Yep, very cool figures. Pitt and Super Patriot are the best looking ones IMO.
Thanks for the pics!

Well I just got my set last night. I haven't opened them all yet, but from the ones I did open, I like them. I never read any of these comic books though, so I know nothing about the characters beyond artwork, movies, etc.
Did they release judge Death with series 1 or are the rest of series 2 figures out also?
