Well. As some of you likely allready know by now. The Micronaits line of 9.5c. scale figures, originally known in Japan as Microman and the genesis of the Transformers and action figure scale for quite a long time, has been bought out by Hasbro.
Takara was bought out by Tomei and most of the line discontinued not too long after the end of the custom focused line of Material Force figures. This after a long battle with Mego/AGE over rights to quite a bit of the property and designs.
Some time in the last year Hasbro bought the rights to the whole line from all sides. Microman/Micronaut/Interchangeables and possibly even Henshin Cyborg etc. Since then theres been not much word from Hasbro since. But a month or three back there was announced a tenative deal for a movie. So somethings up.
Wether or not we'll see a new figure line with the same interchangeability as the originals is yet to be seen.
