I just got 2 Titaniums Heavy Artillery, Merch & Skarr, figures ($12.99 each) in that I ordered from www.smalljoes.com. Here's a quick review.
Each figure is 6 inches tall with diecast & plastic body parts. The figures come with 32 joints including double jointed knees and elbows, jointed thumbs and finger.
They come with 6 diecast weapons, 11 pieces of Exo Armor, and 1 back pack that can hold all the larger weapons with the use of pegs.
--Merch came with 2 pistols with holsters, a knife with a sheath, an assualt rifle, shot gun, uzi, and a sub machine gun.
--Skarr came with 2 knives with sheaths, an assualt rifle, shot gun, uzi, and a sub machine gun.
Here's the ratings:
Articulation [glow=red,2,300]F[/glow]: Highly possible, but extremely loose joints. The have the tendency to "fold" when you are standing/ trying to pose them. The figures have swivel arms and legs. They come with double jointed knees and elbows similar to the Stikfas G2 figure. I love the jointed hands, but sadly, the only weapons that stay in the figures hands are the knives and the Uzi. Merch's pistol handles are too wide/ big making it difficult for them too be held. The other guns are too heavy to be held. The weight causes the hands to open, and the guns fall to the ground. Skarr's assualt rifle has already fallen and the rifle butt broke off.
Accessories [glow=red,2,300]C+[/glow]: The exo armor is comprised of : 1 helmet, 1 chest armor, 2 shoulder pieces, 2 lower and upper legs, crotch armor, and two fore arm mounted weapons. Twin claws for Merch and twin missile launchers (non- working). I love the idea, and duribilty of diecast, but they are too heavy. See above for weapon problems.
Body Design [glow=red,2,300]B[/glow]: The feet look to be on the wrong legs, instead of attaching to the outside of the leg (like Stikfas), they attach to the inside. The body has numerous holes on the chest, back, arms and legs, to which the armor and holster/ sheath attach to by pegs.
Over all review: [glow=red,2,300]D[/glow]
I thought this figures would be as great or great than Stikfas given their extra articulation, but the loose joints, and inability to hold the larger weapons makes me wish that I never bought them. Further designing and lighter weapons would have made the figures better...
Merch & Skarr will probably be the only 2 Titaniums I'll buy, unless the future figures have the problems/ faults listed above corrected.
After messing with these guys for 40 minutes, I emailed the company in disgust. THESE FIGURES ARE JUST PLAIN SH-TTY Don't waste your money !!!!
