Been awhile, but here's the slightly rushed fifth figure in my C.A.T. Squad series: Gloria Aurumn is the team muscle for C.A.T. Squad; powerful and dangerously unpredictable. Little to nothing is known about her past, but the team generally prefers it that way as prying into her personal life usually gets painful in a hurry. (For the enquirer, that is.) Gloria is, as usual, made mostly from parts from the Beta Female Explorer with Jungle Cat kit, with the head and lower body resculpted. I'm not 100% happy with how the head turned out, as with Autumn (see post below), but it seems to suit her. Gloria's usual costume consists of a simple tank top and jean shorts (which are supposed to be only up to the mid-thigh, but I made them a little longer so they'd be more versatile and interchangable with other characters.) Gloria's "good side." ...No innuendo intended here; if you were to meet Glor', you'd far prefer not to meet her face to face, especially if she's in a bad mood, which she nearly always is. continuing...

One of Gloria's most dangerous characteristics is that, when sufficiently enraged, she tends to apparently involuntarily shapeshift into what is known as her "feral state," or "rage mode." (Or "hulking out" if Marvel's attorneys aren't paying attention.) In this state, Gloria tends to indiscriminately attack anything and anyone around her, friend or foe; the only way to stop her seems to be to either use a tranquilizer gun or to shatter and revive her. (Her body is a little bulkier when I draw her, but it's a good excuse to use the rest of the Jungle Cat figure.) With teammate Autumn, who she can barely tolerate (big surprise) but is usually assigned to work with her, since A, Autumn may be swift enough to keep Gloria from getting enraged, and B, Autumn is often considered expendable. (I wasn't happy with the flared nostril look on Autumn, so I repainted her nose. It suits Gloria better, sort of. As for the height difference, it's easily explained by Autumn's boots; they're supposed to be the same height.) Gloria and Autumn are often seen playing video games together on their offtime. With her whip and claws. I'm also not happy with how the claws turned out, with the hands being far larger than Kelly's. They seem okay for her feral state, though. Hopefully I can get the other three figures started soon...

That's really cool. I love the Feral state transformation. Love it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I was just looking back at some of my posted work, and realize the oldest one, Kelly, is about a year old... Hopefully I'll eventually get all eight done by two years. (I very much appreciate your comments, fatshadowmaster, but I hope other people are also still interested...)

I hope you get them done in less than 2 years. In less than 2 years I have had a hand in 137 customs. ;D Guess that's why they call me the Conveyer Belt of Stikfas customs.

Those are cool cats!
Say, I need some futuristic movie and girlie posters to put up on walls in Dark Omen Dawning. If you can send me some pics of figs for such posters you might see them in my comic!
You'll get credit, of course!

I'll have to see - Kelly and her minions, being professional assassins, aren't big on publicity... I'm sure I'd be able to come up with something, but it'll take time...

UPDATE: I was pretty unhappy with how Gloria's eyes looked, so I updated them as follows: Hopefully I can get started on Padre, Cosmo, or Trixie sooner rather than later.
