I have no idea, but that is a pre-Hasbro mold, because they shortly went to only having 2 chest pieces & 2 waist pieces.
Which Stikfas did you get ?

Ahhh...yes you got either a pre Hasbro or early Hasbro Alpha Male Military kit. I would assume early Hasbro since the pre-Hasbro can be hard to come by and are now starting to be considered as rare and valuable by most people.
If it came in a squared off box (without a Hasbro logo on it), then it was a pre Hasbro singapore CAM, if it came in the box with the slanted sides then it was an early Hasbro CAM. Although the quality control on the pre Hasbro was kinda spotty (since it was still in it's earliest stages of developement), it's still a really great figure.
As for the 4 chest pieces (known as T bolts early on), 2 should be without peg holes, two should be with peg holes. Including two of each was mostly incase the pegs broke or quickly wore out on one (which was a problem early on), you could just pull him apart and slap his extremities on another torso. They also made for great custom fodder over time also.
Enjoy your first Stikfas chum, if you're not careful before you know it you'll have another 10 or 20 or 100 more laying around in not time flat.

Oooops... I forgot that they used the pre Hasbro mold for the recolored re-issue blister packed figures. They are truly addicting, I started off with 2 kits (both Alpha Male Military) a few years back, followed by 2 more the very next day. A case the following week, with another case shortly behind that. It's been all downhill from there, I have between 4 and 6 of every kit up to the more current product. I myself haven't picked up anything beyond the Superhero/villian wave yet, but I'm thinking about ordering some Ninjas, a couple of baseball players, a case of cowboys and indians, and a case of legionaires and retro spacemen really soon. Sigh it never ends......

Wow. And here I thought that the Stikfas folder at Xevolution was just used for talking about how superior Xevoz were to Stikfas these days. ;-) Nice to see that Stikfas are still garnering new recruits...unfortunate that most have to resort to on-line sales only to get their fix, however...if you're in the US/Canada, you can head to www.saizon.com and check the store locator for a shop in your area that might be carrying them. Shane...you spoke so eloquently about the dove-tail joint in the Omega villain/hero kits...did you ever even get your hands on any? Anyway...said my piece...off I am. Cheers. -Zook

What's the best way to break these pieces free from the thing and smooth out the things? I hope that made sense ;D I tried just twisting the pieces off and then sanding them but that didn't work as well as I had hoped.

Taking a razor or exacto knife to cut and shave the excess bits on the pieces usually works really good.[/b]
