Way to go shane! Though I don't think you have to apologize. The stores are for everyone. First come first served

Hello all MI-ers. I've got another location. This time with the 3rd Wave 2 packs.
Location: Coolidge Hwy, North of 14 Mile. Troy, MI. Closer to Birmingham, actually. It's a "GreatLand Target" with what I call the Bizaro layout with Electronics up front near the entrance.
I picked up 2-Two CK/PC Packs (I totally feel like Shane now...) and the one Crypt Curse that they had in stock. They had (if memory serves) 2 W2 Two Packs, and about 4 more W3's. No W3 basics, and no other W3 Deluxe. A whole bunch of the Cases thou.
Also, I've just got word from a friend--his Target on 14.5 Mile and Haggerty Road also had some remaining W3 Basics in stock (1 QuickSlinger, and a couple Shield Breakers). Along with Cases. No 2-Packs, no Deluxes yet.
So that's 2 more locations in MI that got a couple cases in. Whee!
Good luck hunting folks!

Ohhh DOH!....Goshu if only I had known (which would have requiered one of us to possess some level of foresight ) I woulda' spotted ya' some cash if you woulda' been willing to pick up a couple of those for me also . Heh, heh....yeah. Anyway... After opening one of each (saving the other one of each for tomorrow night, In best Cartman voice...Yeeaahhh Xevoz goodness two nights in a row, Hooo-Raaayyyy!) I'm totally, thoroughly, impressed, beyond words (I think "stoked" is the term that I would have once used....Dudes ;D), as to how these turned out. I don't even know if I can pull the words together tonight to express my feelings about how great the basic figures in this wave are. No, in fact, I can't, I have other things to do, but needless to say I do have a few things regarding the positives and uhhh....yeah...I think there are only positives in this wave...I think, that I'll probably put into a post sometime tomorrow. All I can say is one way or another I will find PC vs CK in the VERY near future...uhhh...I hope....uhhh...I think that I'm off to order those right now.... Thanks GF....it was truly a happy afternoon, and has been a fun evening (as will I have many more fun evenings with these as time permits)....I still feel a bit bad none-the-less, BUT what the heck is Target (and for that matter Walmart, although I can sorta excuse them since they are in the early stages of their reset) doing only stocking one case at a time when this stuff is flying off the shelves like it is? I know that they don't want to go hog wild and stock the crap out of this stuff, but come on, this is getting kinda rediculous isn't it?

Sonuva - you had to buy two of everything, huh? Luckily for me I scored my own SW and TW this weekend in Southgate (hopefully you don't start prowling there, too!) Still hunting for a Crypt Curse, and the fact he's shortpacked 1 in a box of old stock means I'm gonna be looking for a while, methinks. I'm hoping the new versus packs start hitting the stores en masse soon, that Preda Crawler just looks slick.

Hey, Giger...
First off, the good news, the Walmart out there in Ypsi had 1 or 2 CC's left when I left there yesterday afternoon (he is actually packed 2 to a case). So make an effort to stop in today and you may just have a good chance of finding him.
Sorry again, the 2 of each is the part that made me feel a little bad, but I guess as GF said above it is first come first serve, none-the-less I still feel bad for having deprived others (and BTW I knew you were only kidding). It's kinda funny how we have all been traveling out of our way to find the new figures, although in my case there really is little to no chance of finding them in my local area before another month or so.
Lastly....NO, I won't be doing any "hunting" anywhere else in your stomping grounds anymore. At ALL anymore that is. I finally (last night) laid the "hunter" in me to rest after years of being an exclusively local toy shopper (unless circumstances left me with no options) . I've always tried to support the local retailers, but I'm done with running around and wasting my time (which has become more and more valuable of a commodity the past couple of years) and money (which as others have said, you generally end up spending little more on shipping than you do on running around to stores), and...well....I really have no reason to do it anymore, other than "the fun" of the hunt, which just isn't any fun to me any longer.
So, wave 3 basics were more or less my last "driven" toy hunt. I'm sure that I'll still hit the aisles occasionally, when I'm out shopping (for groceries or clothes or whatever), and I still have people that I will go on toy runs with just for fun and kicks or when I'm bored, but the days of going out of my way are now (more or less) over. Maybe by the time the next wave hits, we'll see some more retailers warm up to the line again, which will make my "hunt" less daunting. If that happens I may return to local shopping, but for now......
Oh and as far as the CK vs. PC goes, yes I cannot wait. In fact, I just ordered two online last night, and they should be here by Friday (or next Monday at the absolute latest), and I only paid in shipping what I would have spent on gas alone (not to mention time, effort, and wear and tear on my car) in only 2 or 3 out-of-my-way trips.

Don't sweat about your clean sweep - I can always wait another day, but thanks for the tip! I will head over to ol' WalMart this afternoon and see if I can get lucky!

Hey Shane, you sound like my wife after the entire He-Man Evil-Lyn figure debacle that we went through. We spent over a month going to every possible Meijers, TRU, and Target looking for her week after week after week. Eventually, when not even trying Steph came across one and that was when she said "NO MORE!"
After that she got any future figures by buying whole cases (trading off extras) or e-Bay.
It's definatly something that can really burn you out. Heck, I've got 1 of each W3 ('cept the StormWing which is still MIA and the fact that I have 2 of the 2 Pack) and I'm not really overly interested in searching for more. I've spent most of this month checking here and there and everywhere and have only got so much out of it.
Yup, I see what you mean. O_^;;

So, Giger....was CC still there waiting for you? I will feel slightly redeemed if he was, lettuce know (uhhhh I mean LET US). ;D
Yeah Goshu, I'm gettin' too old for that carp (fish?) anymore, actually I'm not really all that "old" (28) per se' just tired of the BS'n (that's uhhh....Bull...uhhh...shootin'...uhhh...if you will). This is the one line that I still collect (with any regularity, but ever since Xevoz debuted I'm "turned off" to all other toys...well except the occasional Stikfas and maybe Plaisades Invader Zim), I can afford it (it being shipping) at this point (and it's almost cheaper just in expenses alone), and I feel that I kinda "owe" it to myself to enjoy the experience of someone doing my "shopping" for me, AND (in addition in future purchases) getting it all early for that matter.
On that note....I cannot sing the praises of GOOD STUFF TO GO (henceforth referred to as gstg) anymore than right now!
I spoke with one of the owners this morning, she was very nice (the wife of the huband/wife team that is), and very helpful. In fact while we chatted about Xevoz, ya' know the community, pre-sales (gstg does not generally pre-sell Xevoz because of the crazy case ratios....hmmmm...have we not all seen this coming), generally all things Xevoz....she was very interested in learning more about the whole Xevoz revolution since this is the most "unique" line that gstg has ever carried....
...Anyway, she pulled up my order that I had placed last night shortly before 11:00pm (2 sets of CK vs. PC), and began processing it, not at all by my request, and I would certainly hope not out of preefferential treatment, just out of being very nice.
Shortly thereafter (while I was at my desk, in my office) I recieved a confirmation e-mail for my order stating that it was being processed. As of a few minutes ago, I recieved a confirmation e-mail from Fed-Ex, stating that the package had shipped and would be in my hands by Thursday afternoon.
HOO-FREAKIN'-RAY for me! No seriously ;D
I have now snagged up 2 of each of wave 3 deluxes and basics in less than a weeks time.
My point being GOOD STUFF TO GO is a really friendly dealer, and appears to be...uhhh EXTREMELY fast (less than 3 days turnaround if Fed-ex does well) to...uhhh...deal with.
Not trying to slight Imagination Station in the least, James is an exceptional person when it comes to customer service from what I have read, just trying to give a huge thank you to GOOD STUFF TO GO for being so wonderful to me.
Disclaimer: ShaneReinecke is no way professioanlly or personally affiliated with or related to anyone from or working for the aforementioned GOOD STUFF TO GO. The above statements of said actions and discussions reflect one persons experience with gstg and the results should not be expected to be achieved to this extent in every situation with every customer, but are a testament to the excellent customer service provided by said vendor to said customer....
...ahhh, that should do it ;D...
In hindsite I'm all smiles today aren't I?

DOH! cross posted....
No problem Giger, glad you found him, and glad you snagged him.
I'll still be stopping places from time to time I'm sure, so if an when I see anything else, or anyone is looking for something specific, I'll try to keep people updated...
As for me, unless I get an itch and pick up a couple extras in between I'm all caught up until wave 4, WOW I just really realized how many new figures I've racked up in such a short time, now I just need to get some time to really enjoy them all, and open up (put up in this case) some more shelf space.
Later all....
