I was going through the newspaper Sunday and noticed a TRU ad for 50% "most" their inventory. I am not sure if this applies to Xevoz or is only at certain stores, but I am going to check both out today. I wouldn't mind getting some wave 1 2-packs for $7.50, boosters for $4, and deluxes for $6.[/b]

That's a negative
I went to check out TRU today and all they had done was move the Xevoz around and restocked some Grim Skull promos. Other then that they only had the BC vs SB 2-pack, Razor Claw, Omega Guard, and Alpha Ranger. I was really hoping this clearance woulda applied to the Xevoz considering they have not had anything new, not even the Trasporter Case or Transcorcher 2-pack since I first discovered Xevoz there 4 or 4 months ago.
I was hoping to pick up some extra BC v SB 2-packs for 7 bucks, but I guess not. All well, maybe some other time [/b]

KBtoys in the mall at Fairview Heights has a small cache of Xevoz. Saw Shieldbreaker and Sky Grinder but was unable to get a good look at the rest. They are down the middle row, half way down the second half.

Fairview Target has all of Wave 1, the first two pack, the case, and a few sky grinders. Kbtoys in the St. Clair mall has shock, stinger, breaker, slinger, grinder, sledge, and two cryo vs preds. Same spot so if you need them, there they are. I do believe that like everything else in the store, there is a slight mark up.

Went to two different TRU today, one in Matteson and another in Kankakee. Both had the entire Xevoz line on clearance, the 2-packs and master modifiers were 6.98, the boosters were 4.98, and the power core and transporter cases was 14.98. Picked up 6 SB v BC, 2 Cases, 2 Sledge Troopers, 2 Razor Claws, and 2 SP v TS kits. Bought all 4 SB v BC they had out at one store and got two of the Power Cores there, they had the cases listed but none were to be found so they musta all been sold? Then went to the other in Matteson and got the cases, the boosters, and the master modifiers. [/b]

All of Xevoz has officially made it to clearance here. TRU has all of them for 6.98 (even the Hemo - Stalker two pack that I haven't seen in brick and mortar till a month ago). All of them are sitting in bins. Target has Xevoz on clearance as well. Wish I still had an urge to get them.....

Hi, new poster here, though I've been cruisin' the boards for a while.
Anyway, I saw about 5 IS w/case sets at the TRU in Bloomingdale. They were around $14, if anyone is interested.

I'd like to point out that the Xevoz arnt green tag.
From what i've been told, there just making room for new models when change over happens.
Now, that dosnt mean that the serise is done for, yet. toys has this really bad problem of moveing case assortments fast eough, ae, okay we bought 100 case of wave one, people are now looking for wave 3,
they ahve to sell out of wave one first, and by that time, wave five is out, and you get the idea.
but yeah there marked down to move them faster.
If they go to green tag (( ae, we nee to get ride of this junk now)) then every one should really worry,.
now i havent heared any thing offical about xevoz being cancelled. Any one have some soild info?

Nothing really solid, like concrete, but a lot of reports that are pointing at it's demise
Clearances are all about at every major retailer. TIS James has reported everything he has heard from Hasbro and his latest report tells us that they don't even have Xevoz listed to buy on their 2005 catalog which usually means its cancelled. There have also been some other reports that sound pretty grim regarding Xevoz fate.[/b]

Yeah, it looks pretty grim. Everyplace around here is wiping out inventory and have completed their resets. Xevoz not in any of them. Wave 4 was delayed 3 times and then maybe put on hold. The 2005 catalog doesn't even show Xevoz available to buy at all and it was Hasbro's excuse that wave 4 and beyond were delayed until extras of wave 1-3 were purchased. To me it looks like they are going to dump everything into the Asian market overseas or going to melt them down for plastic resources because if they had any intention for selling them here they wouldn't have cut the past waves they were so intent to sell out of the 2005 order forms.

Well thats just prime.
Hasbro really dosn't known what it has.
then again, most toy companys now a days never seem to known when they have a ture good thing.
It seems like they never have eough faith in any one thing, if it dosn't move like hell fire, it just not selling.

For some reason I feel Hasbro gave up on Xevoz before it really ever got started. These guys are pretty darn good and aggressive marketers of toys and they said they originally planned on a huge marketing blitz for the line. However, for whatever reason they never did but a fraction of what they planned to promote the line. To me it's because next to no one knew that these toys existed much less knew how great they were in playability and design that killed this line off way too early. If they had promoted it like Hasbro has their other properties it would have been a huge hit with collectors and kids alike.

Nods
I wouldn't say next to no one, in fact, while it wasn't a pokemonj or yugiho size rush, they did sell out at many locations, look at how hard it is to find new Xevoz,
when you see a case of five ten or god hlp us twenty of the same figure on the peg, ((dispaly hook)) that means, that x amount of case where put out.
each case has 1 to 3 of each figure.
so if you see the smae strom wing sitting on the shelf, that means, youi can count how many there is and figure out how many case there was.
from what i seen, they been doing prety well, save for the toy r us back up of this year, traget, kamart, wal mart ect, have been going thoguh them quite quickly.
This may just be in chicago, i'll admit, we got tomany collectors in one the same areas, going to the same store. there time when you can spit and hit a fellow collector, not that i would spit on them, but you get the point.i'm surpsie we ahve had fights break out over stuff.
I know in shumburg, toys r us, they did good. we would put a case out and turn around and they would be gone,
we may be had two or three of the two pack bone cutter shaodow balde at one time.
the singal packs, we would have the basic first one hanging a round.
Brickyard toys r us is a diffrent story.
I never did figure out why they got stuck with so much of wave one stuff.
Kaybee toy problem is there over prices. In some ways thay can and cant help that.
There rent is so nuts At times.
target walmart and k mart have been good at selling thought just about every thing,
sorry not quite what this treads was for,
I tried to call hasbro yester day, but there offcies where close due to snow, the wimps.

Well, to be fare wave 3 has been out for the better part of 5 months now, and really just in the last month are we finally starting to notice the stock dryin up. 5 months is a damn long time really, especially considering TRU has had them clearanced for almost 2 months, and most other stores have had HUGE clearances running for a month or more. How can you NOT sell out for 2 bucks a figure?! Some candy doesn't even cost that. Most toy companies get out two or three waves in half a year, rather then try to sell their newest stock for the line which was 5 months old, and even worse the wave 1 and 2 stff which is over a year old now...[/b]
