I like it. It does a good job of capturing the likeness in sculpt and posability.
Now when do we get to see Katchoo and The Maxx?

I'm still wondering how this company can be running when they don't sell anything. I've been seeing prototypes of stuff for years, but not one final product.
And as for my opinion, I really don't like Shockinis or the Gwar figures. This Scud however, looks pretty good. Too bad I'll lose interest before it's actually on store shelves.

Whispers a voice "If you produce it ... and have it available for retail,... I will pay."
What the heck is Scud, btw? I've seen pictures and comic covers of the character, but is it supposed to be some sort of robot or something?

What the heck is Scud, btw? I've seen pictures and comic covers of the character, but is it supposed to be some sort of robot or something? He's an assassin robot that self-destructs upon termination of its target. Scud realized this before he killed his target, so he ended up incapacitating it, and then taking freelance assassination jobs to pay to keep it on life-support (as long as it doesn't die, he doesn't self-destruct).

The design is alright. But honestly, I'm probably not going to buy it when and if it comes out. Shocker Toys' track record is too damaged for me to actually think about getting their stuff. On top of that, I guarantee a lot of people don't even know who the hell Scud is.
It's nice to see some decent designs, but, right now, ST could make figures from The Amory Wars (Which I think is the coolest indie comic out right now), and I still wouldn't buy them.

How the hell is any company going to turn a profit making second teir comic properties a decade or more after their prime? Hell by the time this company get's these out they'll be 20 years past their prime.
Where the hell are my evil ernie, prime and mage figures at?!

To be honest, the designs aren't that bad. I like the concept art for Madman and D. Tracy the best. The rest of the indie series I'm neutral on except for Kabuki. She just looks wrong. As I'm a big fan of the female form and I like to look at pretty girls (and/or female figs) the asthetic just isn't there for me. NOTE: I have the old MAC Kabuki fig and am comparing it to that model. But in looking at the store area, almost everything is sold out or pre-order. Not a good sign. SS has a good point, why is Shockini's using older indie characters that not a lot of people know of? Who's doing your marketing research? No, I'm being serious. I used to do market research and I have to question your end results. And you're making "Who Wants to be a Super-Hero" figures? WTF? As a comic fanboy, I'm damned embarrassed that these folks exist. Ranks right up there with the "Mad House" characters (I know and have lived with people like all of them) in terms of personal embarrassment. Both groups make me want to scream, "STOP BEING ON MY SIDE!!! YOU'RE NOT HELPING!!!" Try the Kemper-Tregoe methodology when making business decisions next time. I'd be afraid what Evil Ernie would look like as Shockini. Mage might be able to pull it off.

Who's doing your marketing research? No, I'm being serious. I used to do market research and I have to question your end results. With ST's track record, I doubt they've done any. ST's gone through a ton of lineup changed in their Indie Spotlight line, mostly because ST either didn't get formal permission to make the figures or the creators withdrew their permission and sold it to another company. That character lineup is quite eclectic. In this case, however, eclectic isn't good. I guarantee you that the average comic reader will not know enough about Scud, Shadowhawk, Kabuki, and The Maxx to regocnize them in action figure form. Right now, it seems like you're just taking whatever licenses you can get because all the others are taken. I hate to say this, but right now you guys could be bringing back Xevoz and I wouldn't give a damn. I nearly killed myself looking for Xevoz.

Is the shadowhawk model going to get the claws? Also, the proportions for the maxx strike me as odd. Also, your modeler should go back and check the comics, the maxx's claws are wrong. Check back on the way that they relate to his fingers, and you'll see what i mean.

ShadowHawk has a hook type weapon but our turnaround from Jim had no claws. As far as The Maxx the feet have already been made bigger, the claw replaced the finger forearms bigger and legs bigger oh and hes hunched more now too.

Okay, these one-ups don't look too bad. Kinda hard to see how they could be interchangeable with each other though.
Still would be nice to see some of today's independent characters (Hack Slash, Emily the Strange, Tank Girl, The Goon, Umbrella Academy, Xombie, Proof, Black Summer, Virgin Comics, etc.) being licensed and made into figures.
Just my 2-cents worth.
