Sup everyone, I am looking for something where you can switch out weapons and maybe something with vehicles. Good quality and articulation are a must. Let me know. Busou Shinki. The base figure is very posable (like a marvel legends) and most of the armor packs are just military gun stuff. At the scale they are at you could probably put them on some other toy line vehicle. Granted they are all girl characters and while you do get variety out of the armor sets, you just can't get really out of the box. They are meant to be customizable, you can get a base figure for 1800¥ which is like... $15-$16 www.konami.comLike Squishee said in the Busou thread, the costs might start to wear you down if you try and get everyone. Transformers Classics is a good line, you have the best versions/most poseable for less cost than the MP editions, and they ARE vehicles! Sigma 6, poseable, lots of weapons, and they have motorbikes at least. They are on the larger side. On scale with like a Spawn figure, but more articulation. Hellboy comic line by Mezco. This line is pretty much over by Comiccon, where I think they'll have Abe Sapien as the final toy. Very poseable, very cool and close to the comics.

I just got the Busou Shinki Devil Straff (?sp) figure and put her together yesterday. It's ... interesting to say the least. Definitely NOT a toy for little kids. My wife was checking out the base figure and her expression was, " " on some of the positions the toy could be placed in. Got two more in route to me (knight and mermaid). But I think that's about all I'll end up buying. Just too bloody expensive.

Positions eh? Now I want to order some again. ;D ;D lol The fig I just got can do 180º leg splits and 180º forward bends and looks like a lolita-esque character with the ponytail extensions. It's a cool looking toy but I have to ask why would an action figure need to be this flexible? What's next, a kung-fu grip accessory?

So other than the TF Classics which I picked up, the Marvel Legends which are headed down hill fast, and SIGMA Six which I already knew about, nothing really new at the brick and mortars. It is a sad state of affairs my friends. Anything new on the horizon look promising?
Oh, and about the R.E.V.s it is probably an acquired taste but other than the Wal Mart only (as far as I can tell) jet and motorbike, they are pretty much crap. They could have been much better, but unfortunately no. I would recommend the smaller ones but not the larger ones. (I picked up the Tengu one I believe but nothing bigger.)

Not much new for figures as of late. I'd recommend NECA's Cult Classic and other movie figures if you're into details. They make some sweet looking video game figures also. I still like very few McFarlane figures, Dragons and some of the core Spawn lines, but costs are getting out of site. I saw some at a music store, which I know are usually a couple bucks higher, for $16 a figure for series 31 basics. I remember getting these types of figures for $8 each at Wal-Mart and Meijer's and $10 at the music style stores. Enough ranting. Check out NECA's stuff, quality.

Dang! I totally missed out on these Four Horsemen bovine warriors. I just checked their store site and many are sold out. Rats. Is there a wave or release listing for the Seventh Kingdom series?
