Spiderman Buzzing Beetle ML Meastro ML Iron Fist
Been after Beetle for awhile. It's part of my ill fated mission to have "Thunderbolts" figs. One can always dream.

Question about the Spiderman figures, how are they in comparision to ML? Depends on which one. IMO, the ennemies are pretty good usually (minus the useless action features). The spider-man figures though are not all good. Crap like Wall-breaking, or Grocery-shopping Spidey have good paint jobs, but most of them lack the ML level of articulation.

Bought a few more figures today..
ML Maestro ML Black X-23 ML White sasquatch
...and they're all going on ebay in the coming days since I only really wanted to Apocalypse pieces. Speaking of which, The right hip joint broke when I was trying to move his legs sideways. I guess I'll have to grab the Bald Bishop at the store tomorrow to get another Apoc waist. Sucks.
Edit: oh..also got a few games. Yoshi Story, Paper Mario and Harvest Moon for the N64 all complete with boxes (woohoo!). And also Bloody Roar for Gamecube.

I'll do an improptu reveiw of Beetle, since his on top of a huge stack of figs I've gotten over the past month and a half and havent had a chance to open (that whole Lair of Doom bit)
Size: He beefy. Very Beefy. If anybody read the three or so issues of "Thunderbolts" when this armor made it appearance, will know that it's suppossed to be pretty big, about 7feet tall or so. So they nailed that on the head.
Articulation: If this was a ML and didn't have any action features, I'm sure they would have squeezed out a few more POA, but regardless it's pretty damn good. Individual fingers, toes, double knee. Pretty impressive, not the best, but I think his size cuts down on overall points.
Paint: Pretty spot on. Purple and Green. Just about half the villians in the Marvel Universe, but great colors. Nice "metallic" effects on it.
"Action" features: Wrist rockets, light up face plate and "buzzing" wings. They do what they say. I guess they need these since they are geared more for actual play then the collectors like ML are.
Overall: I would give it solid 9, trying not to be biased since I'm a Beetle groupie, when I would rate it a ten and a half.
I still have Sandman, Ultimate Rhino and Scorpion to open up. And on a side note, has anyone seen a ML Sentinel Spiderman? It's the last one I need to biuld my Sentinel and I can't find the nerd. dammit.

Batteries and Pepsi campaign? Yeah, I think this is something that all TRU stores are doing, not just here. If you look around the cashier registers, you might see a sign that says "If this cashier forgets to ask you if you need batteries, you get a free 16 oz. Pepsi", or something close to that. So far, the recent TRU stores are being scumbags about following THEIR OWN policy. I didn't even mind not getting the drink, it was more the principle and the fact that they didn't follow through and couldn't own up to forgetting.

Thanks Bleighdzes, gonna have to test out the Non-closing TRU near me, just to see. DFReaper- I like the Spider-Man Villains, I agree with Grayfox. The ones made for the kiddies aren't too collectible. They always have some stupid spring loaded or water squirting action feature. I bought one super posable SM to go with a little Teck Deck skateboard I got and bought the Armored SM for display (already packed away to make room), but the rest have been villains. I have most of them from the old school, no Ultimate versions or ones I didn't want. I didn't like the Doc Ock and haven't found a Kraven, one day I'll get one. Here's a pic of what I have minus Hobgoblin, he's hanging in a corner of my room. photobucket.com/albums/a38/Fatshadowmaster/Miscellaneous/?action=view¤t=roomafter017.jpg

woe is me. Due to my recent moving and my PayPal and current address not matching up, the Ebay seller of my Hawkeye just refunded my money and never sent it. A POX ON THEE!!! MY THUNDERBOLT DREAM IS SHATTERED FOREVER!!!!!
Anyway, I got Spiderman Classics Venom and Mysterio last week as well as my friend giving me an extra Sentinal head he had to complete my set. I have no Spiderman, so I'm on the look out for a good articulated Spiderman to go with all the Spidy baddies I got recently. Maybe on my birthday toyrun this weekend I will have a good score. My inlaws gave me $50 just to spend on figs, how awsome is that!

Picked up a X-men legends giftset for 21.96 at a KB in Fort Walton Beach. Also, got a bunch of stuff at home in boxes from recent Marvel Legends buys. Will update when I get there.
