Picked all 4 up today. WalMart seems a good bet to find all 4.
Very nice for the low price ($6). The magnets are limited to shoulders, hips and neck, and seem to hold together as well as one could expect. Elbows and knees are hinge joints, with ball and socket joints for hands and feet, and finally a swivel waist. The neck, wrist and ankle joints are fairly restricted, so don't expect dynamic poses on the Xecoz level.
Note that despite appearances, the toy actually comes disassembled, so you'll have to pop all the limbs together. The plastic is on the soft side, which actually helps because it allowed them to make the joints fairly tight. Its much harder to pop these parts together than your normal Xevoz ball joint.
Sculpting is terrific. Its easy to hide joints in armor, and standing alone these do look more like small statues than toys.
Each toy comes with light up eyes. This is a totally extraneous feature, and likely won't influence anyone's decision to pick up the figures. However, they do a wonderful job blending the trigger with the helmet decor, and the glow is nice and bright. Well done.
All 4 come with a shield and a weapon. The shields are all nicely scupted and varied in style, perfectly complementing the different armor designs. Weapons are as follows:
Battlescorch - battle ax Hawkblade - sword (the only 1 handed weapon) Paladar - pole arm w/ small double blade fork Drachnid - pole arm with cleaver blade
Each figure also comes with a "stat card", which is printed on a metal plate which doubles as the figure stand. Very clever.
The paint apps are mostly limited to armor detailing, but that is don't quite well without much slop. Colors are as follows:
Battlescorch - red on brown armor, with gold detailing (mostly armor studs), and white/ivory horns on the helm and chest plat.
Hawkblade - Silver on black armor. Simple but classic.
Paladar - Gold on primary blue armor, with copper trim on shield, helm, weapon blade, and elbow/knee "fins". This is the weakest combo in the set, as any place the gold paint wears away exposes blue plastic. Black would have been much better.
Drachnid - Olive green on black, with ivory horns mounted on silver plates.
Overall these are impressive toys. If you want a medieval knight, these are leaps and bounds better than the Lego knights. I haven't been this happy with a new toyline since Xevoz. Then again, given how well that line went over, maybe I should avoid making those comparisons.
Addendum One problem with the figures is that the magnetic joints are not as strong at the tight elbow and knee joints. Thus when you attempt to ben the figure at the elbow or knee, you are just as likely to rip the arm or leg off at the magnet. This should not be more than a minor nuisance to adult collectors, but I can see kids being turned off by it.

It's only the camera flash that made them 'light up' hehe. No fancy tricks there. It looks a lot like if they were lit up though.
I love the detailing on Hawkblade's sword. Also, besides Battle Scorch, I find the names a bit lame heh.

Yeah Battlescorch kinda sounds cheesy to me. I'd say Paladar is the less cheesy. But who cares, just call em whatever you want.

I dunno, out of the four names, I think Battle Scorch is the best one. There could always be better though.
Happy Birthday BTW Misterd!

These figures are excellent, aesthetically (sp?). The magnet design is unique, as well. Although I couldn't help noticing that my Paladar smelled like sulfur or something when I removed him from the box. Must be the paint.
Moreover, I am very pleased with these figures because MegaBloks had the decency to make their weapons out of HARD PLASTIC (my one huge gripe with action figures nowadays).
Still, I do harbor a certain allegiance to Lego: namely the timeless appearance and goofy looking characters, particularly out of the Knights' Kingdom series. Behold these four brave knights! Without knees! And however evil Vladek may be, he's still a cute lil' Lego-man.

I'm sorry to say that I find the Lego Knights Kingdom figures to be one of the lamest toyline ever.

I'm sorry to say that I find the Lego Knights Kingdom figures to be one of the lamest toyline ever. I agree. I honestly think that Lego could have done so much better. Unfortunately, between Galidor, Bionicle and Knights Kingdom, their entries into the action figure arena have been less than impressive. The Mag Warriors, on the other hand, are very cool little toys. Not quite Xevoz-cool (what is?), but still awesome.
