I finally got the Shield Breaker I won on eBay on 9/12. I had the worst eBay experience with this seller (Becky Brandenburg a.k.a. complex3). It got so bad I had to get PayPal involved in a grievance. Save yourself a lot of unnecessary headaches and frustration, don't buy from this individual. The only thing nice I can say about her is the SB showed up NIB. Here's the problem with Becky's handling - She says that she ships out stuff only on Friday and Saturday. Well, I got the two Quick Slingers from her and greyloch, I share in your experience. It took her nearly 3 weeks to move the product to shipping, even though she expects payment ASAP, usually within a day or half that at best. I had made payment to her right after the transaction, requesting that she update me when she would mail out the package. Well, nothing showed up for a while and after emailing her through eBay, she told me she had mailed it out and I should have received something. This was maybe on last week Monday, at this point we're talking two weeks after purchasing them QS's on eBay. Then one week later, I finally receive them, and notice the date on the shipping label was last Friday. Priority mail took no time to deliver; it was literally Friday, Saturday, Monday at my door, but her handling left much to be desired. The funny thing is that I didn't get the delivery confirmation number from her until the very same day they arrived. My only real complaint is that Becky wasn't upfront about letting me know when she would ship and rather told me that I should have had something when it was still not accepted by the post office. If she could have even told me that shipping was delayed due to an error on her part, or apologized for giving me false info about the shipping and admitting that shipping didn't happen until last week, I would have totally appreciated her honesty, but that was never conveyed to me. Granted I got my product, but I appreciate honesty when dealing with anyone. I will give her the benefit of the doubt, should it have been the case where she had someone doing the handling for her who's just not as proficient at maintaing effective shipping schedules and proper record keeping, but it was really not one of those eBay experiences I would repeat since it had me nearly coming to the conclusion that my package was missing and filing a missing package claim which we know is almost as effective as sticking your arm in a black hole to dig for candy. Now, I'm not exactly blacklisting her, but if anyone should do business with her, be prepared for a similar experience.

Now, I'm not exactly blacklisting her, but if anyone should do business with her, be prepared for a similar experience. I'm usually pretty mellow about things like this as long as someone is communicating what's going on. Like when I won the Flash figure from you a couple of months back that USPS messed up on. I didn't blow a gasket or even get upset, sh*t happens. But her lying about when she would send it, not returning e-mails which forced me to file a grievance w/ PayPal due to non-communication and non-receipt of goods. Only then did she bother to send out my package. Singularly the worst eBay experience I've ever had or hope to have. She's the only person I've given a negative mark to. Then she tries to boomerang it onto me by giving me a negative comment telling folks to avoid dealing with me. WTF? I have a PDF of the PayPal grievance and will gladly link folks to it if interested. I like the idea of quid pro quo, you give me something and I give you something of equal value in return. She asks for immediate payment then she should give immediate shipment as part of that request. I won't ask folks to blacklist her either, but if this is the level of service she's giving customers then caveat emptor, let the buyer beware. I wouldn't be surprised if she went out of business because of pulling this crap. eBay wants you to spend money, that's how they make money by having happy, repeat sellers and customers. I'm not a happy camper at the moment -- not because of eBay but because some dippy idiot can't follow thru on her sales. Sorry for the mini rant, but stuff like this just p*sses me off.

I loaded up on the HTS pricing a while back, plus the free shipping with orders over $50. I had ordered 7 two-packs and enough monkeys to raise the cost to above shipping, I think 8 monkeys.
Anyhow, you shouldn't be surprised that HTS messed up my order and left me minus 1 two-pack. When I emailed them about the issue, they asked that I ship the package back and start a new order. Being fully aware of their experience with others and the lack of satisfaction as a results, I told them to forget about it.

WTF?!? Ship the package back and place a new order? That seems like a flat-out absurd policy, plain and simple. Given Hasbro's track record with returns, etc., you definitely made a wise move in taking a hit and keeping what they actually did send to you. Otherwise, God knows what you might have ended up with. Still, it sucks that you got stiffed like that. At least you weren't screwed out of a large chunk of change, if that's any consolation at all.

So get this,....
Some time ago I posted about how I placed my order with HTS a while back and then remarked about how I was missing the one item from my package. Just scroll up two posts to see what I said....
So today I get home and you wouldn't believe what was waiting at my door. No, it wasn't a bigger box with the correct quantity, it was the lone missing item that wasn't included in the original shipping. Imagine that: Hasbro got it right by sending me exactly what I was missing! And the invoice was nothing at all, even better!
I have to say that despite the momentary setback, they really came through after all. So my purchase has a happy ending finally. ;D

Got two of the FD vs RS 2-packs Entertainment Earth had on sale awhile ago. Finally got the prototype Dune Stinger I won on eBay (from Singapore). My post office blundered things and it's been stuck with them since mid-November. Oy vey. I'll post some shots of it in the Plastic Fan Creations in the next few days.
