I saw it in some Toy Fair pictures on several of the action figure sites.

[glow=green,2,300] They can still be totally compatible with these figures they just don't need to be pushed as crossover toys and derail the look and feel of this line in the process. ~SS~[/glow] I guess I should have thought it through a bit more. I agree that they shouldn't be under the Xevoz lable. I'd just like to see other lines have Xevoz style figures that are compatible with the main line. One of the reasons that I stopped collecting was because most toy lines had killed all imagination for the sake of detail or gimmicks.

Eh, Stick them under another label, but I think it'd be cool to have TF Xevoz, and with crossovers life TF, Joe, and even maybe Magic and D&D, you wouldn't have licensing fees to worry about. I just like the idea of having a few known characters and being able to mesh and mangle them along with all these unknowns. Who wouldn't love using that famous fusion cannon to enhance their skeleton/robot/cat hybrid? Besides, I want a Bumblebee head to use. Besides, I'm going to wait until I see the cartoon or the comic(should they decide to do one) to decide if I actually like the universe they set up for these things. Regardless, the toys rock, and call me nuts, but a Squirrel one would really rock:)

[glow=green,2,300]I'm probably in the minority, but I hope they don't make any cartoons or comic books for the line. I just like the fact that this is one of the few toylines where you can feel free to make up your own adventures with the vague details they have sketched out. Of course, if a cartoon or comic series fuels the sales of the XEVOZ brand of toys then I can live with that. I just grow weary of all out assault the senses type of marketing.
I'm not all that juiced personally about the prospect of adding Transformers, G.I.Joe or Star Wars pieces into my Xevoz collection. I like those properties, but I don't think they'll translate to well into Stikfas form or their respective styles fit in well with the style of these toys. I think the sales for such break off lines would probably prove to be meager at best. Most kids will probably would probably just buy a true Transformers or Star Wars figure if given the choice. I can foresee these being huge pegwarmers if made in signifigant numbers.

[/glow] I definetly think there will be a cartoon at least, to spend all of this money creating a brand new line from scratch and then not giving it a cartoon would be insane. Besides what makes toys so popular? The fact that every afternoon or every saturday morning kids sit in front of the tv and basically watch a 30 minute animated commercial. I really want to see this line go all out and from what I know of the Xevoz universe so far there should be an excellent story to tell

[glow=green,2,300]Meh, I don't think kids have to have a story sthingy fed to them everyday for them to want to play with a line of cool toys. The sweet evils the 80s has forever unleashed upon all us action figure toy fans. I know that a series will push the line to kids and that's fine. I'm just not as excited about the premise because I'm sure the cartoon would probably fall somewhat short of what I would desire since the target audience for such an endeavor would be young kids. There are just to many dumbed down cartoons out there as it is. Maybe it could be descent if they got Genndy Tart. or Paul Dini to work on it?

To make this line grow and be popular, Hasbro will do whatever it they have to do; be it cartoon, comics, CCG, etc..I'm kinda glad cause the line will get to be known more and will probably enjoy more success (being put in the spotlight and all).
But I kind of like the status of this line right now. Though it's getting popular quite fast, I enjoy how it's a bit 'obscure' or 'underground'. Like you can ask a friend "do you know what Xevoz is?" and he'll just answer "Xe--What!?"
The line wouldn't be able to survive though by staying underground. It needs to be out there to gain even more popularity.

[glow=green,2,300]Yep, like I said if it's a necessary evil then so be it. I'm just not sure I'll be much into that aspect of the Xevoz universe.

All I really hope is that it isn't a dumbed down cartoon. Really though not all cartoons as of late are dumbed down for kids. As much as I hate to admit it I've watched Yu Gi Ho a few times It's really not all that bad...decent storyline and animation. Even the new TMNT cartoon isn't all that bad...I'm more of a fan of the continuing storyline rather then the stand alone shows though. That's one thing I didn't care for about the latest MOTU

When/if they do a cartoon, that would be my biggest hope; that the cartoon won't be some lame, oversimplified, cheesy storyline. I was watching Transformers the other day on Cartoon Network...what a terrible cartoon. Most of the cartoon was based around the human characters and their interactions, I felt like I was watching a cartoon soap opera for girls that just happened to have some Transformers in it. The latest GI Joe DVD that came with the 12 inch ninja set was the same way. What a disappointment. After watching it, I couldn't believe the difference in plot seriousness between the 80's RAH and this...it was like night and day. I have to admit, towards the end run of He-man, those cartoons were picking up. If Xevoz was to become a cartoon, I'd like to see if somewhere between Beast wars and Batman the animated series. The problem with cartoons and even toy products today, is that their creators forget that kids are far more mature today then when any of us were when we were younger. Kid's maturity levels, in and of itself, is a whole other issue, but that fact is, it's here, and designers need to address their products accordingly. I also have to admit, it would have been awesome if ever Xevoz came with a mini comic telling a small story about the character you just bought.

Gendy Tartakofski.
That's all I have to say.
If you've seen Samurai Jack or the cartoon Clone Wars than you know he's the man to direct.

Some of the cartoons mentionned like Trasnformers Energon or the CG GIJoe Spytroops movies weren't that bad I thought. but you can't expect them to made for us collectors. It's all targeted for kids. It is true kids nowadays are more mature, which makes me believe that these products may be aimed at an even younger audience. An audience who may not yet be into computer and video gaming perhaps... I try to watch these shows without thinking too much casue otherwise they wouldn't make sense. Like I said, they are meant for kids. Hmm..it is just me or is this thread now completly off topic?

Well it is offical, we are all Fanboys (or Fangirls if you so happen to only have the one chromosone type). We are now exploring the premise of keeping the Xevoz line Integrity intact and complaining about the cartoon, although there is still a lack there of. We are now true fans right up there with Transfans and Star Wars Afficenados. Me included. ;D
