I just got off the phone with a very helpful hasbro service representative. I started off by telling him that I am a long-time customer who has bought other products like transformers and star wars in the past, and then I told him how Xevoz was the most Awesome, Original and Innovative toy line I have ever had the pleasure to come across. I proceeded to inform him that already a large fan base has grown in the short time this toy line has been out and that there is a lot of love for these little guys. He seemed very gracious at these comments and told me he would definitely pass this on. I then inquired about the future of the line, telling him about the rumors of cancellation and whatnot. He then took my information and put me on hold for a sec. Then he came back, and that was when the fun started. He told me that they had a LOT of xevoz planned for this year, and even read off a list of the already confirmed Dark Sentinel, GoreGoyle Vs. Helio-Archer, Machete Mech, Scarabushi, Street Pursuit Neo Sapien, and Ursa Major vs. Glacier Scout. Then he told me that these were released this month. I know, I know, I thought -what the hell?- but then I went on to ask him about wave 4 and how I had already got a thunder shaman online but no one can seem to find the rest. That's when he told me the news that has made my day and tied everything together. He said that Thunder Shaman was released in July04, meaning released from their overseas warehouses, then it takes a couple of months to get them into American Warehouses and distributed to retailers until they are finally put on pegs. I got my Thunder Shaman around late November I think, so I'll say about 4-5 months. Then he told me that wave 4 was released in october! He said that we should start seeing them very soon. February/March seems to be about right on the time scale, and I can see why retailers would hold their stock of deluxe wave 4's until they got the rest of the wave in. Excited beyond measure, I finally asked him point-blank "Is the line cancelled or not?" "No. Not as far as I can tell by what's in front of me, it looks like there will be many xevoz offerings in the coming year.", he said. -Silent Scream- :oAfter thanking him and praising the line for a little while longer, he told me to call back anytime to get info on upcoming waves (that they were allowed to give out info on) because he told me he couldn't give me any more names other than those members of this board have already discovered. Also I would like to say that this guy really seemed to know what he was talking about, he knew the product, and he was very friendly and helpful. Probably the best consumer service I have ever received. So there you have it- from the horse's mouth, the line will live in '05. Although we have been told that the line is dead, I will live off of this information and anxiously await the return of xevoz in 2005. This is not a joke. I did not just make this up so people would read my post, I have come here every day since i found this site last year and hardly ever post, so there is no need for flaming. I am merely passing on this information because I love xevoz and I want the rest of the community to share this information and renew their hope. This board has been a pixelated dungeon of dread for too long now. -Enjoy J.D.

Very confusing. I'm not sure why almost every online retailer has not just postponed, but cancelled preorders for wave four if they're still coming. Why would Hasbro tell these retailers the line is over/on hold/whatever if it's not? It's the online retailers that would make a direct-to-consumer sales plan feasible.

If this is BS I wouldn't believe it because it smelled like roses.
BUT! If this is BS the only pictures I'll see will be from a crime scene.

How can there be so many people, who have so many Hasbro contacts, and every single piece of info is different? Doesn't anyone at Hasbro talk to each other?

Yeah, and why wern't the figures on the 2005 list James recieved to order mechandise from if they were already being shipped over? They would have got here in plenty of time for Hasbro to sell them to retailers. Not to mention, why hasn't there been ANY updates on the website in terms of new info on figures in over 6 months? Nothing adds up. It sounds to me like this guy might have just been reading the same info to you that he was to SS about the stuff they have on file.[/b]

heyyou -- seems that way, doesn't it? It's almost like there's someone at Hasbro trying to save the line and someone else trying at the same time to kill it...

Or a whole lot of mis-informed reps, or reps that are throwing us for a loop.[/b]

Pieces fit all too well? The only info we have is the exact same we head before, when SS called and got the names. The only difference now is one rep is claming the figures will be released. The reason I am so pessimistic is becuase I had a lot of hope wave 4 would come. Since then I have not seen anything to PROVE it will be released here. I have only heard a bunch of stuff that doesn't add up.
James tells us that wave 4 isn't available to order on the 2005 catalog (why would you not put a product in your catalog to sell it?!) Not a single bit of info has been released on the official Hasbro website in over SIX months. Someone working at the ToyFair show tells us there is no space reserved for Xevoz. Every single major B&M retailer clearanced Xevoz up the wazoo. That is just a small sampling why I am not ready to jump up and down in joy. As much as I would truly LOVE this info to be concrete fact, I want to see it before I get my hopes up. I don't want to get excited only to be let down again becuase of one rep being misinformed.[/b]
