[glow=red,2,300]Hello my fellow Xevolutionaries....
One thing to remember about Toy Fair and the thus far pictured Xevoz …….
The San Diego Comic Con has gotten so big in the last couple of years that MANY companies show their 1st half of the year @ Toy Fair in Feb and the 2nd half in July @ SDCC. Look at the pics from last years SDCC, Hasbro had a ton of crap there.
I have to agree with much of the previous statements. I'm all for new product, and my crazed toy addicted self wants ALL OF IT NOW. But my subtler pocket book conscious self says slow down just a little. [/glow]

I'm with you on that front. I'd hate to see Xevoz have such a good 2004 year and then have the well dry up for 2005(which I doubt will happen). I mean, it happened with He-Man. Great start, then it flopped. Of course that's Mattel, and we all know how well they market their stuff. I think/hope that Xevoz(and of course their red headed stepchild, Stikfas)last a long, long time. Esp. if there's a cartoon, which could be amazing if done right.

[glow=aqua,2,300]I honestly don't think you can compare He-man to Xevoz. It's like apples to oranges IMO. Xevoz isn't going to repaint one or two main characters to deathand short pack everything cool. All Hasbro has to do is make good figure choices and make the product available without overproducing it. Keeping the line out of Wal-Mart stores would also be a plus IMO.

~SS~[/glow] That remains to be seen, though. Mattell and ToyBiz have consistently pointed out how the retailers demand "hero-heavy" case packouts in the toylines (hence, all the He-Mans in MotU, Spidermans in Spiderman, Wolverines in X-Men, etc.) Once the show premieres, if there IS a focal hero (or a core set of heroes) maybe things will change to the more conventional case pack methods. But then that's all conjecture. Still, I'd shudder to see packaging like "ALPHA RANGER & THE XEVOZ NOW ON TV!"
