This is under the Repaints in my Photobucket album, since I didn't do any sculpting or alterations to the main Thunder Shaman kit; however, I did add several alternate pieces to change the character of the figure. The basic figure. I was originally planning on using brown, but I decided to use dark gray instead. I think it works overall. With armor and equipment. Fairly straightforward repaint overall. Showing the paintwork to his mask. I think that this one turned out pretty darn good overall. With the alternate gibbon head. See below for more added custom heads...

...continuing. Adding the Moon Stalker head that I tried to remold for Dencina, but didn't work out for that particular character. I finally used three of the frills left over from my "Stone Cutter" Firedrake custom, which work great for the horns and as an optional tail piece (with a peg added to fit into the hole in the lower body, turned backwards to accomodate same). The lower legs are actually Alpha Ranger's upper legs, which actually work very well in their new position. The hooves are heavily customized AR shoulder pieces, and are flat enough to support the intentionally topheavy figure. An alternate pose for the minotaur version of Thunder Shaman. The weaponry is borrowed from Iron Phantom and is not technically part of this repaint/custom. And since you knew I'd do this one... Obviously, a sculpted Alpha Ranger head (and repainted lower body). Same figure, um, optimized using Transcorcher's armor and weapon pieces, which makes the orange on the customized helmet blend in better. Unless I decide to get another Franken Punker or something, this should be the last Xevoz custom that I end up doing, due to the scarcity of the line right now... I still have quite a few Stikfas figures to work on, though.

that's a great repaint color. love the minotaur and "Optimus Primal" The black lining of the skull heads is a technique that I think always brings out a very nice quality to models and toys. I know lots of gundam modellers do it. Great paint job. Especially on the shaman mask and armor pieces.

Nice the optimus primal head is cool, really blends in with the armor. The minotaur is cool too. Sorry your stopping though.

As noted, it's not really by choice, unless I want to spend hundreds on eBay. I'm just shifting my focus to the more readily available Stikfas. Not as much personality initially, but that's sort of part of that line's charm...
(And I still have to add photos of older customs to my public Photobucket account...)

I love the repaint!
My initial reaction was: "Holy crap! It looks like Panthro!"

Indeed a great repaint. Grey looks very good on Thunder Shaman. Minotaur and Primal are both good ideas, but I prefer the plain grey gorilla (with accessories).
Hopefully we'll see more of your work!

I'll second (or third or fourth) the Optimus Prime head. Definitely looked like a Transformers type of head.
The minotaur head is nice but I love the overall paint job. Making the ape grey with blue trip really does change the look to it.
What are the patterns on the armor and mask? I really like those - were they stickers of some kind or painted by freehand?

The patterns on the mask and armor are indeed carefully hand painted, with a fine brush. I think it turned out a lot better than I had expected... I should probably take a closeup of some of the work I did on the side of the mask, which doesn't show up as well in photo #3.

Quickie update: The minotaur figure probably looks best in the metallic red armor from my black Firedrake repaint: And, oh yeah, here's the detail of the side of the mask.
