This figure has become a hodge podge of several influences now...
Samus (of course) from the Metriod title of video games Boba and Jango Fett from the Star Wars movies Master Chief from the Halo video games Iron Man from Marvel comic books

Thx FSM, I think I'll chopped and shaped more pieces in that model than any other I've done. There's 13 separate pieces in the lower "blaster" arm alone. I think it's BIG improvement over the original which I was never very happy with due to it's lack of "bulkiness" in it's design.

I really like the head details and how solid the upper arms look. The gun nozzle is throwing me off... what's it from, I can't figure it out! It's no combat chameleon though.... jk.

The base for the cannon and under arm ball socket base is the orange de-clawed transcorcher forearm. The outer housing are Sledgetrooper arm armor pieces. The end base before it tapers to the muzzle is a removed Sledgetrooper shoulder/rounded cylinder piece from the torso. The muzzle is a Crest toothpaste cap and a small LEGO radar dish. The laser site is a filed down piece from a piece of the instrument array from the Sledgetrooper back pack and the there's a few other odd bits and bobs tacked on for detail.
It's probably not as good as the Chameleon, but I'm really happy with it over the first version of this project I posted. I was a little embarassed by that one looking back. It was wasn't very good at all. It way too under developed and I didn't have the experience to create these kinds of layered piecesback then so it looks very sparse in comparision.
This one just had new ideas adding to it over a series of months as it sat on top of my computer. Some of the things I didn't know how they would work out until I actually started cutting parts, but were thrilled to see how they turned out. The neck was a real challenge due to giving it a bulky look but still making it have very good range of motion for posing. Some of my other favorite pieces were the built up chest, heavy lower legs, head and rocket thrusters on the back.
Sorry to write a book, but as you can see I am still very passionate about creating customs with Xevoz. I wish this board hadn't dried up with interest as I feel like there almost no one who cares anymore about xevoz customs, but I guess that's to be expected from a short run, unpopular, toyline that died almost a decade ago.
